Job Summary:
The Data Specialist role at Colling Media will be a key player in ensuring our data processing pipelines are running smoothly and efficiently. They'll design and implement these pipelines across various advertising, analytics, sales, and reporting applications. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate data models, monitoring and optimizing performance, and ensuring data security and privacy standards are met. In addition, they'll set up reporting tables, create interactive marketing dashboards, conduct Google Analytics audits, meet with clients and internal employees to answer technical questions, forecast marketing performance, and research new data technologies. This role requires a problem-solver with a passion for data and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create new websites and/or update existing sites across various frameworks and applications, such as WordPress and Unbounce.
  • Set up tracking tags on websites for various applications, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Set up client Google Analytics Properties
  • Help manage custom applications for internal company operations.
  • Help with onboarding new employees and new clients
  • Meet with clients to help answer technical questions and intake custom requests.
  • Meet with internal employees from various departments to help answer technical questions and intake custom requests.
    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data processing pipelines across various advertising, analytics, sales and reporting applications.
  • Develop and maintain data models for data warehouses, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Database management / Database administration.
  • Monitor and optimize data-related performance issues, including query optimization.
  • Ensure data security and privacy standards are met.
  • Develop and document data standards, processes, and governance policies.
  • Automate data-related tasks using scripting and programming languages.
  • Set up reporting tables for a wide variety of companies with multiple data sources.
  • Set up interactive marketing data analysis dashboards in Google Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).
  • Google Analytics audits and implementations.
  • Meet with clients to help answer technical questions and intake custom requests.
  • Meet with internal employees from various departments to help answer technical questions and intake custom requests.
  • Marketing performance forecasting with machine learning models.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new data technologies and applications.

    • Skill Requirements (minimum of 1 year experience required in the following):
  • SQL
  • RESTful APIs
  • JSON/XML/HTML
  • Marketing Data Analysis
  • Strong communication skills

    • Salary (based on skills and application experience) :
    $55k - $65k with bonuses
